Healing Prayer Service

St. Peter’s has service every Wednesday at 10 a.m. This service is to help our friends, family, and ourselves in need of healing prayer. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Caregiver Exchange

Do you, a family member or friend provide care to someone who is ill, aging or disabled? St. Peter’s Caregiver Exchange Group can help. We offer caregiver resources for seriously ill family and friends. We offer options for caregivers whose lives are impacted by caregiving.
The Caregiver Exchange meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s Parish Hall. It is free and open to all community members who are unpaid family or friends caring for a seriously ill loved one or family member. It is a place where caregivers can find comfort. Your own health is important!
For further information, contact Dr. Deb Cash, Caregiver Exchange Support Group Leader, at (775) 882-1534 or <nvdebcash41@yahoo.com>.

Friends Day Out

A new community support group meets every Thursday from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the Parish Hall. “Friends Day Out featuring Java Music Club” is hosted by Nevada’s RSVP, whose trained volunteers guide hands-on fun learning for persons living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, cancer, COPD, Parkinson’s, diabetes, or other such disabilities. Labyrinth Dedication Ceremony May 4th

Please save the date! We are ready to dedicate the Labyrinth – on World Labyrinth Day, Saturday, May 4th.

The ceremony will begin at 12:30 pm. Fr. Jeff will lead the litany, accompanied by Bob Reid and the Labyrinth Hymn. The labyrinth will be open to walking meditation at 1:00 pm, to Walk as One at One and Pray for Peace, our part of World Labyrinth Day.

The dedication is concurrent with the Wine Walk, so we expect a lot of guests from the parish and the wider community. We are looking for volunteers to help greet and mingle, set up and clean up, and a journalist to cover the event and write a story for publication. We plan to offer finger foods and beverages, along with sales of St. Peter’s commemorative coins and engraved bricks.

Please us!
